MONDAY’S CUP OF MOTIVATION
Every one of us has a goal for our children the moment they are born. At that very moment, we are not praying for them to be rich or famous. We are praying for them to be healthy. That is the first goal because it is the most important goal. Everything after that is a bonus. As we mature, we focus on other goals such as climbing the corporate ladder, getting a raise and so on and so on. We tend to take our health for granted. If nothing is wrong with us, there is no need to worry. It is only when we are faced with illness or our own mortality that we realize how short and precious our lives are. Being healthy is everything. If we don’t have our health, everything and everyone around us suffers. Let’s always make our health a priority not only for us but for our families. Our lives are amazing and we want to be around to enjoy them. Let’s look at ways we can improve our well-being this week. Let’s not wait until our body gives us a wake-up call. We can never be too busy to work on us. A healthy mind and body will not only let us live longer, they will give us an advantage as we continue to climb the corporate ladder and improve our personal lives. Remember these things: Dream it. Do it. Be positive, for our attitude will affect the outcome of many things. Let’s make some progress with our health every single day. Begin, Believe, then Become. Remember how precious life is. Invest the time it takes to become a better you; it will bring you happiness that no money on Earth can ever buy. Have a phenomenal week.
ENCOURAGEMENT…
Today
Outside my window, a new day I see,
And only I can determine what kind of day it will be.
It can be busy and sunny, laughing and gay,
Or boring and cold, unhappy and grey.
My own state of mind is the determining key,
For I am only the person I let myself be.
I can be thoughtful and do all I can to help,
Or be selfish and think just of myself.
I can enjoy what I do and make it seem fun,
Or gripe and complain and make it hard on someone.
I can be patient with those who may not understand
Or belittle and hurt them as much as I can.
But I have faith in myself, and believe what I say,
I personally intend to make the best of each day.

GREAT WORDS TO LIVE BY…
Whenever you find yourself doubting how far you can go, just remember how far you have come. Remember everything you have faced, all the battles you have won, all the fears you have overcome.

Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, let go of it. Fear is a mind-killer, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish them.

No one can go back, but everyone can go forward. And tomorrow, when the sun rises, all you will have to yourself is: I am going to think of this day as the first day of my life.
Manuscript found in Accra Paulo Coelho
You’ve got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle.

As long as you have a roof over your head, clothes on your back, food on your table and those you love around you, you have all you’ll ever need. Be grateful. Be thankful.

There are two gifts we should give our children; One is roots, and the other is wings.
