MONDAY’S CUP OF MOTIVATION
It is Monday and time to motivate ourselves. This is easy to do at times and tougher to do at others. During the football season, many fans will become Monday morning quarterbacks. A loss by our favorite team may carry over into Monday and set the tone for the week. Every one of us will experience loss time and again in our lives. Especially Dallas Cowboy fans. On a more serious note, there will be times when we experience true loss. We may lose our job, our spouse, a family pet. The list goes on and the fact is loss is a part of life. How we deal with loss and tough times can truly impact what happens next. The great Dr. Seuss once said “Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.” Such simple words with such huge meaning. Let’s be grateful today for what we have right now and what we have been fortunate to experience in the past. Loss happens but we will never know the joy of winning or being truly grateful for what we have without knowing what it feels like to lose something or someone. Let’s not fear loss. Let’s hug our kids and those we love often, take risks, live life because it is precious and it is amazing. Let’s embrace how much we have in our lives and appreciate the little things because someday we will realize they were the big things. Have a phenomenal week.

Life is short, so live it. Love is rare, so grab it. Fear controls you, so face it. Memories are precious, so cherish them. We only get one life, so live it!

When people start telling you you’ve changed, it’s because you’ve stopped living life their way.

The ultimate lesson all of us have to learn is unconditional love, which includes not only others but ourselves as well.
Elisabeth Kubler
Three things you cannot recover in life: the WORD after it’s said, the MOMENT after it’s missed and the TIME after it’s gone. Be Careful!

Often in life, we forget the things we should remember, and remember the things we should forget.

People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.
Elisabeth Kubler
This week, let that light from within shine!
