MONDAY’S CUP OF MOTIVATION
We are in March already. That’s hard to believe. Time is truly flying by. We always hear that there is not enough time in the day. The truth is we all have the same 24 hours. Life is all about how we choose to use out time and how we choose to look at things. Some people believe that the world is not fair. That the world is conspiring against them somehow. The truth is the world is moving way too fast to conspire against us. The same goes for people. We spend so much time worrying about what others think about us. The truth is they are too busy with their own life so let’s give ourselves a break and not worry about what others may or may not be thinking about us. We know who we are and that’s what truly matters. Let’s shift our focus to work on making the best version of us. The world is a big place and it is moving fast. Let’s choose to be positive and focus on our world and the people in it who matter the most. Let’s do our best because that’s who we are and that’s more than enough. Every morning, let’s start it off with a morning mantra. I can because I think I can. I am because I think I am. I will because I want to. I am the hero of my own story. I will achieve anything I want to achieve. I am limitless, I know no boundaries. I will succeed. I am success. I am Free. I am great TODAY. Have a phenomenal week!
ENCOURAGEMENT…
THE LAW OF THE GARBAGE TRUCK
One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport.
We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us.
My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches!
The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us.
My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was really friendly.
So I asked, ‘Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!’
This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, ‘The Law of the Garbage Truck.’
He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they’ll dump it on you. Don’t take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don’t take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets.
The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day.
Life’s too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so … Love the people who treat you right. Hope for the best for the ones who don’t.
Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!
Have a garbage-free day!

GREAT WORDS TO LIVE BY…
You have power over your mind – not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.

If being hard on yourself worked, it would have worked by now.

When we think of failure; Failure will be ours. If we remain undecided; Nothing will ever change. All we need to do is want to achieve something great and then simply to do it. Never think of failure for what we think, will come about.
Maharishi Mahesh
When you focus on problems, you get more problems. When you focus on possibilities, you have more opportunities.
Zig Ziglar
It doesn’t matter if the glass is half empty or half full. Be thankful that you have a glass and grateful that there’s something in it.

Ships don’t sink because of the water around them; ships sink because of the water that gets in them. Don’t let what’s happening around you get inside you and weigh you down.
