MONDAY’S CUP OF MOTIVATION
It’s the fourth quarter and we are coming to the end of 2014. Have we done what we set out to do at the start of the year? There is only one person who can answer that question. There is one person who is ultimately responsible for where we are after three quarters. The good news is no matter where we are right now, we can reach deep down and find the will to get ourselves to the next level. The beauty about sports and life is there is no guarantee that someone will win or someone will lose. We are astonished constantly by the underdog or the person we thought would never make it. Getting ourselves mentally and physically prepared will give us an edge when it comes time to compete. Let’s choose to improve during this fourth quarter so we finish strong and get ready for 2015. Many people look at the holidays as down time. Let’s look at it as moving time. A time to take ourselves to the next level. Life is largely a result of past choices. The good news is we make the choices so let’s make better decisions. Season after season, we have been competing one way or another. Don’t ever sit back and concede defeat. Let’s work harder and work smarter. If we want to be different, then we need to think different. What is it we need to do to get to the next level? We all know what we need to do. Let’s stop posting about it and start doing it. Choose to prepare ourselves and we will put the odds in our favor when it’s time to compete. Have a phenomenal week!
ENCOURAGEMENT…
Rise and shine.
6am and your hand can’t make it to the alarm clock before the voices in your head start telling you that it’s too early, too dark, and too cold to get out of a bed.
Aching muscles lie still in rebellion, pretending not to hear your brain commanding them to move.
A legion of voices are shouting their unanimous permission for you to hit the snooze button and go back to dreamland, but you didn’t ask their opinion.
The voice you’ve chosen to listen to is one of defiance.
A voice that’s says there was a reason you set that alarm in the first place. So sit up, put your feet on the floor, and don’t look back because we’ve got work to do.
GREAT WORDS TO LIVE BY…
Fortune favors the prepared mind.
Louis Pasteur
The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary.
Vince Lombardi
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
H. Jackson Brown Jr.
Luck is the last dying wish of those who want to believe that winning can happen by accident, sweat on the other hand is for those who know it’s a choice, so decide now because destiny waits for no man. And when your time comes and a thousand different voices are trying to tell you you’re not ready for it, listen instead for that lone voice in decent the one that says you are ready, you are prepared, it’s all up to you now.

Failure is not fatal, but failure to change might be.
John Wooden
People will let you down. Welcome to life…People will also lift you up, save you, love you, embrace you, teach you, and guide you. Welcome to life!
Elle Febbo
The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will.
Vince Lombardi
