MONDAY’S CUP OF MOTIVATION
It’s a great day to have a great day. Such positive words spoken by John Sanders. It truly is a great day and we are going to have a great day. It’s amazing how powerful words can be and what an impact they have on our lives. Imagine if we wrote It’s Monday and I hate Monday’s. We would have set a completely different tone for our day. Let’s think about how many times we tell people how we are doing. Words get us half way there. If we say something positive, then we are on our way to something positive. People believe that they cannot live the life of their dreams or have the life they want because of things outside of their control. The truth is we control our happiness and we control our destiny. We need to go all in on life. We can’t be tentative or give just enough to get by or get the job done. So often, we give ourselves an out. We go half in. We make excuses for why something does not happen or why we are not where we want to be. My life is good but I wish life was better. I would have done that but I was too busy. If we ever inserts the word “but” in the middle of a sentence, forget whatever we said before the word but and listen to what we say after that word. That is the truth of that sentence. What we just said was I wish life was better and I am too busy. Let’s work to eliminate half positive sentences by being all in. If we want to take the island, then we have to burn the boats. There is no going back and there is no half in. To truly improve our lives, let’s start with what we say. As the saying goes, “Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habit. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.” If we are going all in on life, it starts with positive thoughts and quickly turns to positive words. This week, remember that it’s a great day to have a great day. Think it, say it, live it. Have a phenomenal week!!
ENCOURAGEMENT…
The 7 Things Successful People Never Say
1.That’s not in my job description.
2. It can’t be done.
3. It’s not my fault.
4. This will just take a minute.
5. I don’t need any help.
6. It’s not fair.
7. This is the way it’s always been done.
THE POWER OF WORDS…
A child and a mother were crossing the river…
Mother: “Please hold my hand”
Child: “No mom, You hold my hand.”
Mother: “What’s the difference?”
Child: “If I hold your hand and something happens to me…chances are that I may let go, but if you hold my hand…I know for sure, you will never let my hand go.”
GREAT WORDS TO LIVE BY…

Happiness is a butterfly, which when pursued, is always beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.
Nathaniel Hawthorne
Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life–think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success.
Swami Vivekananda
I have not failed. I’ve just found 10000 ways that won’t work.
Thomas Edison
The only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday.
